On behalf of the dedicated members of the Sigma Omicron chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, we welcome you to our official chapter website!

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a predominately Black organization of college-educated women dedicated to sisterhood, scholarship, and service. The sorority was founded at Howard University on  January 13th, 1913 by 22 Black collegiate women. Our 22 founders envisioned an organization that challenged women to excel academically and to help others in need. Members of the organization continue to strive towards the same goals that our founders had by focusing on our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:

  •     Economic Development

  •     Educational Development

  •     International Awareness and Involvement

  •     Physical and Mental Health

  •     Political Awareness and Involvement

For years, the Sigma Omicron chapter of DST has shown tremendous dedication to not only the Utah community but to the illustrious organization of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. We consider ourselves very blessed to work along the side of the many dedicated sorors that were once in this collegiate chapter.

We are humbled that you have taken the time to find our chapter's webpage. Please feel free to browse and check back with us often for more updates.

Best,

Sigma Omicron Advisory Team
